Ok this is not really a blog, so I'm calling it Entries.... I get a lot of emails asking relationship advice, probably because the radio show I had in LA was mostly just that....let me add the disclaimer right here, Gretchen and I never claimed to be experts, we always stated that we were "self proclaimed" relationship advice giver experts" which isn't even an actual title, but people called into the show hour after hour, week after week and they really seemed to like my opinion. This is not going to be one of those perfectly structured blogs, I write as if I was talking to someone, really answering their question, so spelling and proper grammar are always questionable, because I don't like to go over and over what I write, making sure it's politically correct or that I didn't offend someone, I like it to be from the gut, straight from the heart, call me lazy, but that's just what it is. I'm not always right, but I do look at things differently than some women, girls don't get me wrong, I love ya, but we are crazy! If you're a woman right now reading this, not going, YA WERE CRAZY, then you're kidding your self! Really, who can give perfect relationship advice?, no one, because no one is actually there, in your head, living the day to day. All anyone can do, is ask people for advice and weigh the pros and cons. Every relationship: lover, family, brother/sister or friend, is completely different, nothing is ever going to work across the board and there is always 2 sides to every story, when you seek advice from a friend or family member, they get your side, I guess that's why I see things different from your typical advice outlet, I think about that other side. I did call us women crazy, and yes, men are just as crazy! I didn't read the "Men are from Mars, Women are from"...book but it doesn't take a "doctor" to figure out that were all crazy in our own ways, and communication is a bitch sometimes. Life is too short, I do love that saying, but it's more than that. We only get a few trips around the sun, but it's how we live those moments that is key and I don't want to go thru life arguing with my lover, family member for friend, or waist my time with someone who doesn't appreciate me, or settle for something less, or drag out a WAY OVERDUE family argument that just sticks around because no one is big enough to be the bigger person.
